To use this chat room, you need to have Javascript running. Try entering the chat room, and if it doesn't work, come back and download and install javascript, a free and very fast download. Click the link above, then choose the javascript version based on your operating system. Javascript is a common and widely used program that is necessary for many websites to run.

Enter a screen name, then click "Enter" to come in. You do not need to enter a password (that is for administration only). Once you are in the chat room, you need to keep this window open. If you close this window, you'll leave Chat.

This is a premium version of Chat. It features sound settings and even a trivia game. Check the sound settings, and turn them "on" so that if anyone else comes in the chat room or sends you a private message, you will be alerted by a "chime." This is a handy feature for people that have several windows open at one time; great for multi-taskers!

To carry on a private conversation with someone, use the "private message" feature.
