Moore Plumbing and Heating, Inc. was founded March 1, 1990 by Tim and Joanie Moore in Mancelona, Michigan. For the first year, the business operated out of our home while we worked nights to construction our building at its current location, 9136 Limits SW in Mancelona. Once the building and construction was completed in Spring 1991, Moore Plumbing and Heating moved into its new location and has been there since.
Moore Plumbing & Heating provides plumbing, heating, and air conditioning services for residential and commercial clients. We serve new construction, remodel, and repairs of all kinds, regardless of the size of the project.
Our plumbing services include cottage/seasonal home openings in spring, and closings in fall. We’ll unclog drain lines and septic lines, thaw frozen pipes, and make repairs. Faucet replacement, fixtures, sinks, ice maker rough in, water heater service and water heater replacement. If it has to do with plumbing, we can help!
Moore Plumbing and Heating supplies and installs forced air heating systems and hot water heat / baseboard systems. Take advantage of our fall furnace tune-up secials to save money and get your heating appliances in good condition before the heating season begins. In addition, we supply and install air conditioners and humidifiers.
For the do-it-yourself repair person, we stock a variety of furnace filters, thermocouples, gas valves, blower and combustion motors, oil filters and nozzles, and plumbing parts at our shop. If we don’t have something you need in stock, we can order and generally have it within a day or two.
Moore Plumbing & Heating is a family owned and operated business. Our children Kayla and Bradley have taken on their own roles in the company. Both have learned to answer the business lines professionally, and take messages when we are not available. Bradley loves to accompany Tim and our employee on job sites, often times carrying his own tool bag and repair parts. Kayla is learning some of the office responsibilities, and has assisted Joanie with payroll, invoicing, deposits and filing.
