THE BEAUTY OF ANTRIM COUNTY
When it comes to northern Michigan, there is no shortage of spectacular views! Whether it be winter, spring, summer or autumn, there are breathtaking sights all around us. An avid photographer that loves the outdoors, I try to catch as many of these special moments to share with others that also appreciate Up North 
Michigan.
Many of my images appear on the front cover of area telephone directories, including our local Kalkaska-Mancelona telephone directory. Other images appear in the Community Section of yet other telephone books. The majority of my work is for the media and websites I have developed. My folder of “favorite scenery images” gets bigger every day.
FIRE INVESTIGATION PHOTOS
One of my services is photographer for several local fire districts. The images 
are used for investigation, training and education purposes. Several Antrim, Kalkaska, and a portion of Otsego County Township Fire Districts have used my photography. While taking photos of fires and accident scenes can sometimes be very difficult, especially when there are fatalities, the firefighters can benefit from studying the images to identify areas where their public services might be improved. Munson’s Northflight Air has especially found images useful when their services have been requested. Now, they can get a ground-up view of landings and take-offs, viewing power lines and other obstructions that may jeopardize the safety of the crew and patient.
PEOPLE
Wow, do we love people, especially little kids that can’t resist a camera! Whether it be community day-long events, 
festivals and events, parades, school activities or just people hanging around enjoying the day, we have managed to capture thousands of smiles from, oftentimes, an unsuspecting subject. Such was the case with these little kids whom we caught on film at the 2008 Antrim County Fair in Bellaire, Michigan. It has been one of my favorites. Surprisingly, we ran into the same little kids at the 2009 fair, and managed to get a few more shots of them.
It’s kind of like that “Candid Camera” concept…. don’t be surprised if some day, some where, some how, someone comes up to you and says, “Look for your photo on JoanieMoore.com!”
